1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a site places on the user’s device (computer, mobile phone, tablet) when it is visited. Among other things, they are used to remember preferences, keep sessions open, protect forms against abuse and measure, in aggregate, how the site is used. For the purposes of this policy, the term "cookies" also covers equivalent local-storage technologies (for example, localStorage and sessionStorage).
2. Categories of cookies used
This site uses only two categories of cookies:
Strictly necessary — required for the site to function and to remember your consent choice. They are placed by default and do not require prior authorisation, under Article 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC (ePrivacy).
Optional (anti-spam) — used exclusively by the hCaptcha service to protect the contact form against automated submissions. They are only placed if the user accepts optional cookies in the consent notice.
We do not use advertising, social-media or behavioural-tracking cookies on this site.

4. How to manage or withdraw consent
You can accept, reject or customise your choice when the cookie notice is first shown. At any time you can review or change your decision via the "Manage cookies" button in the footer.
In addition, most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect parts of the site, in particular sending the contact form.
5. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated to reflect changes in the services we use or in applicable legislation. The version in force is the one published on this page, identified by the "last updated" date at the top of the document.
